Our Play and Learn Preschool and Kinder Prep program are the perfect blend of play based learning, teacher directed advanced academic learning and outdoor exploration. At Tiny Roots Preschool students will be able to make believe they are a cashier at a grocery store, use engineering and problem solving skills to build a house for the 3 little pigs, create art masterpieces in our Outdoor STEAM Lab, solve addition problems using fun manipulatives and begin their journey to being a reader by reading CVC words! Our students thrive in our unique learning environment where they get to experience teacher led learning, play based learning and student directed learning all in the same day.

Hi, my name is Miss Kristi and I am the owner and lead teacher at Tiny Roots Preschool. I have been teaching preschool at Tiny Roots Preschool for 12 years. Being a preschool teacher is my true life calling and the greatest job I will ever have (besides being a mom- that job is pretty incredible too)! Being a preschool teacher is what I am MEANT to do, I know that with every fiber of my being. It is a job that I do not at all take lightly. I feel a great sense of responsibility to not only provide my students with a happy, safe environment where they feel loved and supported but to also instill in them a love of learning that will last them all throughout their life. I feel that I have an immense responsibility to make sure my students are as prepared for Kindergarten as they can possibly be. I work my absolute hardest to teach them all of the academic, social and classroom skills they will need to know in order to thrive in their Kindergarten classrooms. I LOVE my job and I think my love and enthusiasm for my job and my students shows in everything I do! Tiny Roots is a place where students can feel safe. Safe to be themselves, safe from outside worries, safe to make mistakes and try again. Tiny Roots is also a place where parents can feel safe knowing their child is happy, well loved and thriving. Students at Tiny Roots love their "house school" with a small class of friendly familiar faces. We have found 12 to be the perfect class size for our micro school. With 12 students in a class our students are able to work on important social skills while at the same time receiving one on attention and instruction from Miss Kristi. Our Tiny Roots Preschool families are a wonderful and kind community of friends and neighbors. We have families come from Mesa, Gilbert, Tempe, Chandler and even Queen Creek to be a part of our affordable, high quality preschool programs.
