About Play and Learn Preschool

Our Play and Learn Preschool Class is for students ages 3-5 and is the perfect introduction to a structured classroom environment. Students in this class learn important classroom skills including how to follow multi step directions, how to work together with their classmates and how to actively listen to their teacher. This class teaches little learners to become confident, self sufficient tiny humans. So much of this class is focused on social and emotional skills as well as classroom skills. Our Play and Learn preschool friends also learn introductory academic preschool skills while playing! Each month we introduce a fun theme that incorporates all of our art, music, writing, phonics and math activities. While we play small group phonics games, or have a whole class math lesson or work one on one with Miss Kristi learning to write our names- all of it is done in fun, exciting hands on ways! We play TO learn in this program!  

Play and Learn Preschool has two different class options.  We offer a 2 days per week program on Tuesdays/Thursdays and a 3 days per week program on Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays.

Tuition: $175 per month

Wednesday/Thursday/Friday

8:30 am - 11:30 am

Tuition: $275 per month

Play and Learn Preschool is a mixed ages class for little learners 3-5 years old. Students must turn 3 by September 1st, 2025 to enroll in Play and Learn Preschool 

Class size:

12 students per class

Play and Learn Preschool classes are taught by Miss Kristi, a state certified teacher with a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education from Arizona State University.

Play and Learn Preschool Monday/Wednesday/Friday 2025-2026 School Year starts on Wednesday, July 30th 2025.  Play and Learn Preschool Tuesday/Thursday 2025-2026 School Year starts on Thursday, July 31st 2025.

This is what a typical day's schedule in our Play and Learn Preschool program looks like.  It is full of the perfect mix of unstructured free play, student directed play based learning  and teacher led learning. 

Some of the academic skills we work on in Play and Learn Preschool:

Literacy

-Recognize uppercase letters

-Recognize lowercase letters

-Identify letter sounds

Math

-Sort objects by color

-Recognize numbers 0-10

-Count up to 10 objects using 1 to 1 correspondence

-Create simple patterns

Handwriting

-Trace first name

-Write first name

-Begin to write letters uppercase and lowercase
