About Tiny Roots Preschool
Our History
Tiny Roots Preschool was founded in 2012 as an in-home preschool named Once Upon a Preschool. It all began with the mission of providing high-quality, affordable early childhood education to families in the East Valley. Since then, we have grown and expanded to become Tiny Roots Preschool, a micro school with a focus on outdoor exploration, STEAM opportunities, play based learning and structured teacher directed learning. At Tiny Roots we prepare your little learner for Kindergarten by teaching them the social, classroom and academic skills they will need to succeed. While at the same time providing them with opportunities to play, experiment, explore and enjoy learning! We believe in creating an environment where students can spark their life long love of learning.
Tiny Roots Preschool Class Schedule
2025 - 2026 School Year
Classes start July 30th, 2025 and the school year ends on May 18th, 2026
Play and Learn Preschool
8:30 am - 11:30 am
Tuesdays and Thursdays
Ages 3-5 Students must turn 3 by September 1st 2025
Tuition: $175 per month
First Day of School: July 30th
Last Day of School: May 19th
Kinder Prep
12: 15 pm - 4:15 pm
Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays Ages 4-5 Students MUST be entering Kindergarten in the Fall of 2026
Tuition $315 per month
First Day of School: July 30th
Last Day of School: May 19th
Tiny Roots Preschool is located on the border of Mesa and Gilbert at Country Club and Guadalupe roads.

Registration for the 2026-2027 school year opens in February.
Current and Returning Tiny Roots Preschool Families- Registration begins February 2nd
General Public- Registration begins February 9th
Tours will be available for booking starting February 9th. The application form for the 2026-2027 school year will be active starting on February 2nd. To enroll you must submit an application form. You will then receive an acceptance or a waitlist email within 10 days of enrollment form submission.
